Crazy city of canals – our trip to Amsterdam

After a long and joyful ride we reached Amsterdam where we checked in and then had our first impressions of the city in the evening.

The next day after having had breakfast we met our guide (looking like Brigitte Nielsen… ) who showed us the old city of Amsterdam with all its facets which was really interesting even in rainy weather.

Later in the afternoon we took the tram to the Ajax Amsterdam Arena which we wanted to visit. We saw all parts of the really fascinating building for example the locker room and the press conference room etc.

On  Wednesday  we had a boat trip through the canals of Amsterdam which are called “Grachten”.

Also we visited the Hemp Museum and had an insight in the industrial use of Marihuana and its history.

The study tour of the FTM2 was a perfect mix of culture, sightseeing and fun .During all tours there was English spoken, it was easy to understand because all guides were well prepared for tourists from all over the world.  Nearly all people in Amsterdam are able to speak proper English.

Not to forget the gastronomic aspect of the city that had to provide delicacies for everyone.

It was a great week to discover something new, framed by a relaxed atmosphere.
